Director's message
The Master's in Business Sciences is aimed to guarantee a measurable increase in management skills and is a powerful means of developing those skills that are required for the management of small, medium and large organisations.
This Masters is designed for graduates from any area of science, preferably those who do not hold a first degree in Business or Management but who carry out a role in management, or shortly plan to do so. It is also designed for all those involved in entrepreneurship or those who are likely to be involved in the management of small companies.
This Masters adds significantly to the employability of graduates, and, for those already working, it gives them access to a broad range of useful references regarding strategic and operational business decisions.

Programme Overview
If you have an entrepreneurial spirit and dream of one day running your own company, or if you want to take on a management role, it's time to apply for ISEG's Master's in Business Sciences (MCEMP). Come and join a challenging program where you'll acquire hard and soft skills.
The main objective of the MCEMP is to guarantee a real increase in the management skills of its students, especially those whose 1st cycle training is different from economics and management. It is an instrument for developing skills applied to the management of small, medium and large companies.

Applications for Master's degrees are made exclusively online through the ISEG website, from December 2024 to May 2025.
Applicants for the Master's in Business Sciences must:
- Hold a degree from a national or foreign institution in any scientific area, preferably other than management or business sciences.
- In accordance with Article 17 d) of Decree-Law no. 74/2006 of March 24, amended and republished by Decree-Law no. 65/2018 of August 16, other applications deemed appropriate by the selection panel will be assessed on the basis of curriculum analysis.
- Students who have not completed the cycle of studies leading to a bachelor's degree may apply conditionally, provided they meet the conditions for obtaining the degree by the end of September (of the academic year of application).
