All about this master

Programme Overview

The field of finance is constantly evolving, shaped by complex economic dynamics, technological innovations, and growing societal challenges. Our Master of Science in Banking and Finance aims to prepare students to navigate this evolving landscape by providing a comprehensive academic programme combining structures learning, applied research and professional development.

The programme includes six core courses that cover essential topics such as advanced corporate finance, financial modelling, international finance, and professional ethics. These courses are designed to provide a deep understanding of fundamental financial principles while placing a strong emphasis on sustainability and ethical responsibilities—two critical issues in today’s financial world.

Students will also have the opportunity to specialise in one of two areas: financial markets or corporate finance. The financial markets specialisation addresses contemporary themes such as fintech, market risk management, and the use of Python and VBA, equipping students with in-demand technical expertise. Meanwhile, the corporate finance specialisation focuses on areas like mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, and advanced valuation techniques, preparing students for careers in rapidly changing corporate environments.

This programme, combining theory and practice, seeks not only to train highly skilled financial professionals but also to develop leaders capable of tackling the challenges facing the industry. Through an interactive teaching approach and real-world case studies, students will develop the analytical and decision-making skills necessary to thrive in a demanding professional environment.

KEDGE Business School’s Master of Science Banking & Finance is a double degree programme. It delivers a Master of Science accredited by the conférence des grandes écoles (CGE) and a diploma recognised by the French Ministry of Higher Education.
