It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Faculty of Human Sciences at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. We stand out as an international School that annually attracts students from all over the world to Lisbon to improve their knowledge and develop their skills in different fields of study, especially in Communication Studies. With a clear international outlook, the School has built a solid reputation both for its cuttingedge research and its vibrant teaching. Besides attracting faculty members from many different countries, the research produced at our School is widely acknowledged across the national and international scientific communities while many of our teaching programs feature among the very best in the world according to prestigious international rankings.

We are fully committed to the continued development of our learning and research environments. Students taking the MA in Communication Studies may study abroad for one semester namely through the Global Scholar Exchange Program co-organized by the Universidade Católica Portuguesa and Kent State University.
